He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Leland and Helen E. Aull Bennington. He is survived by: his wife Valarie; his niece Beth Bennington (Howard Vasquez) of Carlsbad, NM; his nephews, Kirk Bennington (Paula) of Sycamore, IL, Frederick Viele of Cummings, GA., Robert Viele (Patricia) of Havre de Grace, MD. and Jonathon Zengerle (Monica) of Ijamsville, MD.; and his brother-in-law Charles Lynn Williams (Carole) of Burleson, TX..
