He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Fuqua and Gladys Mildred Fuqua (Dunn); his spouse Carolyn Sellers-Fuqua; his siblings, Floyd Elwin Fuqua and Bonnie Phillips; and his pet Duffy.
He is survived by: his son Richard Cisneros; his nieces and nephews, Diane Fuqua of Cairo, Gail (Kent), Max Phillips (Rebecca) of Round Rock and Dallas (Dawn); his cousin Snow Payne (Frank Potts) of Floydada; his pet Mia; and his significant other Angel.
