She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Skelton and Marie Skelton; and her husband Hurston Battey. She is survived by: her daughter Denise Elliston; her son-in-law Bill; her grandson Cory; her great grandchild Brandt; her son Robert Battey; her daughter-in-law Mary Beth Battey; her daughter Jeanna Kaye Gaines; her grandchildren, Amber Gibson and Casey Nichols (Bonnie); and her sisters, Velma Masterson and Sharon Williams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
