She was predeceased by: her parents, Kakuzo Kakuda and Sato Kakuda (Yamashita). She is survived by: her husband Richard Splain of Abilene; and her children, Dennis Splain (Mhret Splain) of Detroit, Ronald Splain of Thailand and Sue Ann Splain Parks (Bruce) of Helena, Montana. She is also survived by six grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
