It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh Pittman of Abilene, Texas, born in Sidney, Texas, who passed away on February 8, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Pittman (Helm) and Codie Pittman; his brothers, Raymond and Coy Pittman; and his son-in-law Hugh Nixon.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Nixon of Alvarado and Curtis Pittman (Susan) of Abilene; his grandchildren, Tracie Morris (Craig), Dixie Ryan (Tom), Robyn Scott (Jerrod), Zachary Pittman (Natalie), Tyler Pittman (Lauren), Chris Nixon, Trey Nixon and Myron Nixon; his great grandchildren, Seth Morris, Ethan, Mason, Gavin Ryan, Lexi, Will, Tate Scott, Tatum, Tripp, Emmy Pittman, Benjamin, Luke Pittman, Jordan, Raven, Zayne, Liam, Elijah Nixon, Zariah and Avianna Britt; his great great grandchild John Ryan; his sister Connie Phennel (Mike); his siblings-in-law, Sally Beall and Vance Higdon; and his close friend Sharon King. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
