Glenn E. Earnest Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn E. Earnest of Abilene, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Glenn may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Glenn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Earnest and John Earnest; his former wife Barbara Earnest; his brother Dinzel Earnest; and his daughter Candice Barr.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Earnest; and his children, Darrell (Pat Earnest), Gary (Diana Earnest), Randy (Jeanie Earnest), Cody Earnest of Coleman, Shay Earnest (David) of Abilene and Paula Barr of Tuscola. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery (7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601).
