She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Cortinaz; her son Francisco Cortinaz Jr; her grandson Marty Salas; and her brothers, Policarpio Vargas, Pablo Vargas, Tony Vargas, Joaquin Vargas and Caldo Vargas.

She is survived by: her siblings, Maximino, Sebastian, Ignacio, Julian and Rafaela Rojas. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
