He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Donald Goodnight and Ellen Painter Goodnight; his sons, Webb and Ellis; his wife Jean; his daughters, Ashley (Jason Hall) of Abilene, Texas and Lauren (Carlton Ellis) of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Webb, Ellis Hall, Paige, Jane and Matthew Ellis; his brother Kim; his sister-in-law Beth Goodnight; and his nieces, Mandy (Meurig Cundy) and Erin (Michael Gillott). He was also cherished by his wife, his daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren.
