It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Delano Embry of Abilene, Texas, who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Franklin Delano may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Embry and Minnie Embry; his wife Pat McNabb; and his siblings, O'Neal Embry, Dallas Embry, Jimmie Embry, Grace Cramer and Annette Reeves.

He is survived by: his children, Jayscott (Daniel) and Dana Rodriguez (Omar); and his grandsons, Antonio, Ryan and Niko Rodriguez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Piersall Funeral Directors (733 Butternut St, Abilene, TX 79602).
