Florine (Rene) Sanders Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florine (Rene) Sanders in Abilene, Texas, born in Sterling, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myles Daniel Cross and Ida Winchester Cross; her sisters, Wanda V Cross, Norma Beavers, Margie Butler, Betty Dickson and Carolyn Halbrook; and her grandson Matthew Tyler Johlke.
She is survived by: her husband George Sanders (Ebb); her children, Cathy Johlke (Larry) of Houston, TX and Greg E. Sanders (Darla) of Abilene, TX; and her siblings, Gene Cross, Sharon Cosgrove, Jeannie Darlene Baughn and Gwen Delcamp. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
