It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Fields (Abilene, Texas), born in Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Firestone and Esther Pearl Firestone (Stone); her siblings, Orvie, June and Charlene; and her husband Jim.

She is survived by: her former spouse Louie Hayes; her sons, Willie Hayes (Tana) of Magnolia, Weldon Hayes of Monahans and Ward Hayes (Jenna) of Murphy; her grandchildren, Nate, Bethany (Nick), Zach (Natalia), Cheyenne, Gregory, Alex, Tate (Tiffany), Mackensey (Steven) and Hanna; and her great grandchildren, Everly, Willow, River, Corbin, Charleigh and Reese.
