We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2024, at the age of 99, Eldon Wesley Martin in Abilene, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Eldon Wesley leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Eldon Wesley may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sanders Martin of Abilene; his daughters, Sharon Foster (Tommy) of Abilene and Terri Wright (Arlis) of Abilene; and his grandchildren, Kristen Schwertner (Scott) of Lake Jackson, Kelly Chambers (Chad) of College Station and Kent Foster (Courtney) of Prosper.
He and Betty volunteered when called upon by the Rehab and RSVP program served the church in many ways.
Memorials may be given to Wylie Methodist Church at 3430 Antilley Road in Abilene, Texas 79606.
