Dorothy Alice Yandell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Alice Yandell of Abilene, Texas, who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cordie Everett and Margaret Fellers (Henager); her husband Alton Cecil Yandell, Sr.; her siblings, Marvin Fellers, Bill Fellers and Virginia Moore; and her children-in-law, Shann Gibson and Clarice Yandell.
She is survived by: her children, A. C. Yandell, Jr. (Carolyn) of Denton Valley, Janice Corbett (Terry) of Evant and Carol Gibson of Abilene; her siblings, Byron "Sonny" Fellers of Baird, Bobby Fellers (Stella Marie) of Clyde, Mildred Fellers of Baird, Rose Jeffus of Fort Worth and Mary Brazelton of Baird; and her grandchildren, Terry Alan Corbett, Jr. (Nichole) of Spurger, James Alan Corbett (Rachel) of Crawford, Brian Keith Gibson of Plano and Shelley Marie Bailey (Chris) of Goldthwaite. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bailey-Howard Funeral Home (105 Oak St, Clyde, TX 79510). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Clyde Cemetery (506 Hunt St, Clyde, TX 79510).
