He was predeceased by: his sisters, Triva Newman and Ida Nell Alston; and his parents, John Daughtery and Albertine Daughtery. He is survived by: his wife Mary Daugherty; his daughters, Maida Daugherty, Cynthia Daugherty, Keisha Carr (Dana Stephens), Janet Wigfall and Sieanna Daugherty; and his grandchildren, James Spearman, Matthew Gratts, Billy Tubbs, Sterling Peterson, Terance Edmond, J. L., London Watson, Jaime Boynton, Tanequa Evans and Ticara Love. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
