It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Short of Abilene, Texas, born in Haskell, Texas, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Short and Zetta Tidrow Short; and her brother Larry Short. She is survived by: her children, Sharla Bradford (Ricky) of Clyde, Michelle Taylor (Josh) of Abilene, James Green (Maddy) of Abilene and Bradley Matlock (Tarrah) of Justin; her grandchildren, Alex Jackson, Kaylee Glover, Tristen Taylor, Mason Taylor, Owen Green, Ellisyn Green and Jack Matlock; her great grandchildren, Arzie Jackson and Blaize Jackson; her brother Cliff Short (Mynea) of Haskell; and her sister-in-law Shirley Short of Haskell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hendrick Hospice, 1651 Pine Street, Abilene, Texas 79601.
