He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gruber and June Gruber; his brothers, Harry Gruber and Tommy Gruber; his in-law Paul; and his niece Alisha Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ann Gruber; his children, Michael Gruber (Danita Gruber), Sherri Gruber and Terri Gruber; and his in-laws, Richard, Lacye Hutton, Millie "Mid" Gruber and Sandy Gruber. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
