It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lee Greer of Abilene, Texas, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frank Greer and Ferrell Louise Kay Greer; his wife Ellen Mateline Greer; his sons, Robert James Greer and John Harold Greer; and his siblings, Helen Mary Greer, Ferrell Louise Chenault, Charlotte Frances Dodd, Ruth Belle Hatfill, Mildred Gaylord, Loxley Owen Greer, Betty Jean Greer, John Edward Greer, Paula Marie Phillips and Franklin Greer.
He is survived by: his son William Dennis Greer of Odessa, TX; and his grandchildren, Ellen Samford of Houston, TX, Lisa Williams of Abilene, TX, Kathy Greer, Tina Vasquez, Cindy Mason, Anthony Greer, Amber Satterfield, Caleb Greer, Nathan Lujan, Rachel Lujan, Angelica Lujan and Elizabeth Mootz. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
