He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stephens and Gladys Stephens; his grandfather Billy; his siblings, Maxine, Cora Lee, Inez, James "Tuck", Glen, Rudy and Peggy Bob; his grandson Troy Abbe Jr.; his daughter Linda Abbe; and his children-in-law, Troy Abbe Sr. and Charlene Kay Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Landers.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the McBee Cemetery.
