He was predeceased by: his parents, T. J. Key and Zella Grace McMinn Key; and his brother Teddie Jack Key. He is survived by: his children, Shanna Shaye Key-Mims (Martin Mims) and Bradley Sean Key; his former spouse Samilue Key; and his stepgrandson James Eason Mims (Jace).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
