She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Hodges and Amanda Hodges; her daughter Karen Childers; and her siblings, Wanda Jones, Alice Orum, Bill Hodges, Gene Wilson and Kenneth Hodges.
She is survived by: her husband Garland Wayne Childers; her children, Jeff Childers (Linda) and Lisa Cruse (Shannon); and her brother Earl Hodges. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
