He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Price; his children, Rachel Holmes Agee (Richerd Agee) and Ben R. Holmes, Jr.; his grandchildren, Mac Holmes, Caroline Holmes, Alexandra Holmes and Anna Agee; and his sister Gay Holmes Manning of Arlington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
