Barry Smoot Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barry Smoot of Abilene, Texas, born in Childress, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2024 at the age of 66. In the vast expanse of eternity, Barry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Barry was also a talented writer of several plays, one of which, "Revelations," was recently named a Finalist Play in the Del Shores Foundation Writers Search.
