He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Benton "Digger" and Virgie Westerman; his wife Peggy Pruett; his children, Barney "Bubba" Bill Westerman Jr. and Susan Carmack; and his brothers, Mike Westerman and Joe Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Kem Lechuga (Carlos) of Abilene, Stacy Miller (Mitch) of Brownwood, Ashley Montemayor of Brownwood and Colby Pruett (Michelle) of Brownwood; and his sisters, Mickie Warnell of Hewitt, Vira Hopkins of Azle, Linda Cagle of Thornton and Patsy Cox of Georgetown. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great - grandchildren, 7 nieces and 6 nephews.
