It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Jean (Harvey) Macgregor of Abilene, Texas, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxey Harvey and Hazel Harvey. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Beasley (Ken) of Greenbriar, Karen Viertel (Mark) of Abilene and Sandie Rees (Jay) of Weatherford, Texas.; her nephew Andy Ostenberg (Marcy) of Moses Lake, Washington.; her grandchildren, Cody Beasley (Catherine) of Fayetteville, Brye Beasley (Kayla) of Conway and Tanner Viertel (Blair) of Keller; and her husband Kenneth.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Piersall Funeral Directors (733 Butternut St, Abilene, TX 79602). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Round Mound Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Meals on Wheels, Hendrick Hospice Care, West Texas Rehabilitation Center, the Christian Service Center, or a charity of your choice.
