With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruedelle Hill of Abernathy, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Stephens and Dorothy Stephens (Petty); her siblings, Ann Stephens Kincaid and Sam Stephens; and her siblings-in-law, Walter Hill and Peggy Stephens.
She is survived by: her husband Hugh Hill; her children, Michael Hugh Hill of Lubbock, TX and Terri Smith (Larry) of Lubbock; her grandchildren, Kyle Hendrix (Hollie) of Lubbock, Adam, Amy Smith of Lubbock and Brant Smith of Austin, TX; her great grandchildren, Holton, Koleman Hendrix, Carter, Brynlee Smith and Braden Smith; her brothers, Ronnie Stephens of Graham, TX and Gene Stephens (Doris Anna) of Abernathy; and her brother-in-law Barry Joe Hill (Linda) of Ohio. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Abell Funeral Home - Abernathy (411 16th St, Abernathy, TX 79311). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Abernathy Cemetery (1350 Co Rd 325, Abernathy, TX 79311).
