With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jo Ann Peterson of Abernathy, Texas, born in Dimmitt, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Nowell and Valter Nowell (Wagnon); her husband Jerry Arnold "Pete" Peterson; and her sister Johnnie Battey (Keith). She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Attebury (Kenny) of Abernathy, Jeri Rothell (Doyle) of Amarillo, TX and Nanette Hill (Raymond) of Shallowater, TX; her grandchildren, Justin Watts, Tyler (Kristin Hill), Mark (Melissa Attebury), Chris (Kyla Attebury), Tabitha (Kyle Kelley), JoAnna (David Ray Kuehler), Chelsi (Zack Simmons), Kristopher (Heather Lawrence) and Keenan (Maegan Lawrence); and her sister Jan Adams (John) of Stephenville, TX.. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM and at 4:25 PM.
