He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Russell and Willie Mae Russell (Bridges); his son Kevin Lane Russell; and his brother James Russell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gaye Russell of Abernathy; his son Charles "Chuck" Russell (Amy) of Olathe, KS; his grandchildren, Michael Lane Johnston of Lubbock, TX and Gabriel Elijah Russell of Olathe, KS; and his sister Melba Joyce Bradley of Lamesa, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
