He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. Pope and Wilma Pope (Motheral) of Abernathy; and his granddaughter Leila of Orange Park, FL.. He is survived by: his girlfriend Catherine Crabtree of Abernathy; his siblings, Milton Pope (Angela) and Karen Waits of Abernathy; and his sons, Ricky Pope (Michelle) of Lubbock, Rodney Pope (Pamela) of Salado, TX, Steven Pope (Jodi) of Vancouver, WA and Jody Pope (Cindy) of Littlefield, TX. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
