She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hargrove and Clausma Hargrove; and her daughters, Patricia Johnson, Karen Johnson and Reba Elmore.

She is survived by: her children, Pam Johnson, Goldie Emery, Charles Elmore, Charlotte Elmore, Leslie Elmore and Mary Elmore; her granddaughter Dominique Houston; and her great grandchildren, Braxton, Grayson and Stetson.
