He was predeceased by: his parents, Veronica Lenart, (Mynarcik) and Frank Lenart, Jr.; his daughter Mary; his brother Bernard Lenart Sr.; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Lenart, Helen Lenart and Gladys Picha.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lenart of Abbott; his children, Thomas Lenart (Leslie) of Waco, Anthony Lenart (Elizabeth) of Plano, Richard Lenart of Fort Worth and Angela Smith (Colin) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Chris, Matt, Patrick, Jack Lenart, Brendan and Abby Smith; his great grandchildren, Ella, C. J., Emmy and Clayton Lenart; and his brother Raymond Lenart (Sarah). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel (808 S Reagan St, West, TX 76691). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (601 W Houston St, Abbott, TX 76621).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott.
