Evelyn Soukup Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Soukup of Abbott, Texas, who passed away on June 18, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Petter and Anna Petter (Matus); her husband Joe Frank Soukup; her daughter Evelyn Polansky; and her son-in-law Don Philen.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Soukup (Georgia) of Red Oak, Roy Soukup (Fern) of West, Patricia Kaluza (John) of West, Mary Holy (Don) of Waco, Alvin Soukup (Dorene) of West, Martha Philen of Crawford, Josie Walter of Robinson and Joe Soukup Jr. (Charlotte) of West; and her son-in-law John Polansky of West. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and one on the way; 8 step grandchildren; 14 step great grandchildren; 9 step great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Meals on Wheels or West Rest Haven Memorial Fund.
