He was predeceased by: his mother Carol Coram Meader; and his sister Susan Cherry. He is survived by: his father Bruce Irvine Meader; his daughter Carolynn Rose Howk (Meader); his son-in-law Brandon Curtis Howk, Jr.; his grandchildren, Averey Elizabeth Howk, Brandon "Tripp" Curtis Howk III and Camdon Curtis Howk; and his nephew Scott Cherry.
