He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Mynar and Helen Mynar (Pavlas); his brother Larry Joe Mynar Sr.; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Lillie Hromadka; and his brother-in-law Wilfred Anton Rieger.

He is survived by: his wife Lillie Marie "Lil" Mynar of Abbott; his children, Stephanie Matus (Mike) of West, Bennie Mynar Jr. (Cristy) of Abbott, Becki Price of Rosebud and Stacie Davis (Zach) of Abbott; his siblings, Marvin Mynar Sr., Jeanette Rieger, Bernadette Kutscherousky (Tommy), Helen Snider (Edward) and Gloria Allen; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Mynar, Rose Mynar, Deborah Hromadka (Ben Fish), Raymond Joe Hromadka Jr. (Janice), James Hromadka Sr. (Charlotte) and Larry Hromadka Sr. (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Mason Matus, Brent Mynar, Marissa Matus, Kenna Mynar and Luke Price. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
