Sue Cary Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sue Cary of Yuma, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sue Cary to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tolbert Williams and Theo Dosha Williams (Grissom); her husband Gene Cary; her sons, Larry Cary and Kenneth Harris; and her siblings, J. T. Williams, George C. Williams, Minnie Webb, Irene Gatlin, Ruby Willis and Betty Carey.
She is survived by: her son Ricky Cary of Yuma; her daughters-in-law, Peggy Crawford of Westport and Donna Harris of Washington; her brother Les Williams of Washington; and her grandchildren, Amanda McCracken (Christopher Jordan), Greg Harris (Fonda) and Chad Harris (Zoe). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren as well as numerous Nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home (21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home (21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344). A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Jamison Cemetery (5400 Westport Rd, Westport, TN 38387).
