He was predeceased by: his parents, Freamon Taylor and Norine Pinkley Taylor; and his wife Sylvia Felts Taylor. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Steele (Marty) of Yuma and Laurinda Ingram (Jack) of Germantown; his grandchildren, Amanda Steele, John Ingram and William Ingram; and his sister Orvaline Mann (Hilliard) of Trezevant.
