He was predeceased by: his parents, Opie B. Pope and Juanita Baker Pope; and his sister Virginia Anne Pope. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn D. Pope of Yorkville; his children, Franklin Pope (Dawn) of Yorkville and Carol Anne Austin (Jeff) of Newbern, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Justin Pope (Emily), Ryan Pope (Amanda), Rebecca Austin Hendon (Christopher), Mary Hannah Austin and Joseph Tillman Austin (Rebecca); and his great grandchildren, Arly, Bennett and Addison Pope.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be directed to the Yorkville Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 177, Dyer, Tennessee 38330.
