He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hanks and Vadie Hanks; his siblings, Wayne Hanks and Edith Mae Bradford; and his daughter-in-law Judy Hanks.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hanks; his sons, David Hanks and Ricky Hanks (Judy); his granddaughters, Dr. Karen Hanks, Jennifer Jennings (Jason) and Becky Cobb (Zeb); his great grandchildren, Lynleigh Cobb, Colt Cobb, Laney Jo Cobb, Nolan Jennings and Beau Hollis Jennings; and also, Andy, Cindy Johnson, Corbin, Carrie Johnson, Brooke Jennings Cary and Bryleigh Snead.
Please note the family has requested the CDC guidelines of masks and social distancing be observed.
