He is survived by: his significant other Marilyn Scarborough Clifton; his children, Stephen Clifton (Laurie) of Jacksonville, Alandra Murphy (Tim) of Sleepy Hollow, Carol Clifton Stevens (Bert) of Lebanon, Leah Orr (Tim) of Newbern and Royce Funderburk (Angela) of Dyersburg; and his sisters, Dorothy Clifton Myers of Long Beach and Martha Clifton Guy of El Segundo. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
