We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2024, at the age of 65, Darlene Parnell of Yorkville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Austin Patterson and Alma Bell Clanton Patterson; her husband Mike Parnell; her brothers, James Patterson and Jeff "Jeff Honey" Patterson; and her children, Shane Parnell and Brittney Jo Parnell.

She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Nicole "Nikki" Parnell of Yorkville, Tennessee; and her siblings, Mickey Patterson of Dyer, Tennessee, Roxanne "Rocky" Lineberry and Michelle "Shell" Walls. She is also survived by her "Fur-Baby" grandchildren.

Her daughter asks that in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be directed to the Gibson County Animal Shelter, 125 Manufacturers Row, Trenton, Tennessee 38382; Dyer County Humane Society, P. O. Box # 223, Dyersburg, Tennessee 38024 or Paws To Care, Inc., 945 Harris Road, Dyersburg, Tennessee 38024.

My favorite memory is recently when you were coming here, but went the extra 10 miles to get her Crystal burgers. She was as excited as if it had been a 16 oz. Rib eye. You knew what Dooley liked!
