He was predeceased by: his wife Sherry Stroud Yount. He is survived by: his children, David Jones (Brandy), John Simmons, Amy Colvin (David), LaShane Fulton (T. J.), Cindy Gutierrez (Jermaine) and Jennifer Abelson (Derek); his siblings, Donald Yount, Gary Yount, Robert Mathis, Darrel Moore and Kathy Harris; and his grandchildren, Madison (DeVinn), Maeson, Aaron, Shelby, Taylor, Michael, Dakota, Roseanna, Ada, Cora, Connor, Brantley, John, Colton and Dusty.
