It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Ryan Patterson of Woodbury, Tennessee, born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Wesley Ryan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his parents, Larry Patterson and Geraldine Patterson of Woodbury; his children, Whaylen, Leland Patterson and Atleigh Patterson; his siblings, Dewayne Patterson (Vickie) of Murfreesboro, Penny Nash (Gerry) of Columbia and April Parker (Nick Butner) of Smithville; and his close friends, Tony Burns and Justin Kelly.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gentry-Smith Funeral Home (303 Murfreesboro Rd, Woodbury, TN 37190). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (900 Murfreesboro Rd, Woodbury, TN 37190).
