Susie Mae left this world on February 13, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Jernigan and Hilmer Mae Jernigan; her husband Billy Scott; her daughter-in-law Denise Scott; and her great grandchild Henry Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Harris (Wallie) of Woodbury, Kay Arnold (Billy) of Murfreesboro, Belinda Young of Lascassas and Tim Scott of Woodbury; her sister Louella Young of Woodbury; her grandchildren, Bradley Harris (Erica), Shellie Parker (Will), Ronnie Arnold (Christy), Whitney Sawyer (Donald), Amanda Petty (Brennan), Jonathan Moore (Tiffany), Leeann Scott, Erin Scott and Brent Scott; and her great grandchildren, Luna Moore, Tyler Cain Parker, Hallie Mae Parker, Ada Lee Parker, Harper Rhea Harris, Hannah Lynn Harris, Callie Vance, Theodore Petty and Jason Sawyer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gentry-Smith Funeral Home (303 Murfreesboro Rd, Woodbury, TN 37190). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Leoni Church of Christ (6818 McMinnville Hwy, Woodbury, TN 37190).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leoni Cemetery Fund.
