With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Reed Goodman of Woodbury, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Palford and Betty French Gilley; her former husband Robert Lee Reed; her husband Bill Dean Goodman; and her siblings, Almet Palford Gilley, Jerry Randall Gilley, Robert Garrel "Bobby" Gilley and Joy Fay Spain.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Reed (Pam) of Woodbury and Vicki Smith of Woodbury; her grandchildren, Cliff Reed (Amy), Clint Reed (Jessica), Cole Reed (Kelsie), Lindsay Patterson (Joe) and Blaire Smith; her great grandchildren, Ryker Reed, Adrianna Reed, Brett Reed, Carson Reed, Kaynie Reed and Gabe Patterson; her siblings, Lyle Max Gilley (Debbie), Gary Bruce Gilley (Melissa) and Vivian Louise Thomas; and her daughter Jean.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Gentry-Smith Funeral Home (303 Murfreesboro Rd, Woodbury, TN 37190). A burial was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Woodbury Church of Christ, Woodbury Day School, or Boyd Christian Elementary School basketball.
