James R. Pickett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James R. Pickett of Woodbury, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zachariah Pickett and Ruby Pickett; and his siblings, Edward Pickett, David Pickett, Martha Ferrell and Linda Chandler.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Pickett, Teresa Pickett and Jamie Pickett; his siblings, Dorothy Flannery of Scottsboro, Donna Leath of Woodbury and Donnie Pickett of Lynchburg; his close friend Mervin Troyer; and his caregivers, Madi Leath, Pam Lowkey and Christina. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home & Memorial Park (405 Sharp Springs Rd, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Fellowship Church.
