He is survived by: his children, Kristie Bailey Chaffin (Leon) of Eagleville, Jamie Pewitt (Kenny) of Lascassas and Brad Pursell (Patti) of Auburntown; his grandchildren, Ashley Still (Chris), Erica Garrett (Ryan), McKenzie Bennett (Spencer), Sarah Motley (Jordan Fann) and Colton Pursell (Sarah Grace); his great grandchildren, McKinlee, Pailyn Still, Jackson Bennett, Annalynn, Neyland, Wylie Kate and Briggs Garrett; his stepgranddaughter Katelyn Conner; and his siblings, Linda Smith (Lonnie) of Woodbury, Connie Alsup of Lebanon and Doug Pursell (Cheyrel) of Auburntown.
