He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carl Haley and Lucille Gilley Haley Pursell; his stepfather Sam Pursell; his daughter Pamela Haley; and his brother Jimmy Haley.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Haley of Woodbury; his daughter Vicki Sandlin (Lanny) of Liberty; his grandchildren, Amy Campbell (Derrick) of Brush Creek and Hunter Sandlin of Liberty; his great grandchildren, Hayley and Hudson; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Seabaugh of Woodbury, Helen Rhodes of North Carolina, Alberta Lafever of Woodbury and Ben Lafever (Wilma) of Woodbury.
