He was predeceased by: his father William E. Ely. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Edwards of Murfreesboro; his wife Fancie Lewis Ely of Woodbury; his daughters, Savannah Ely (Casey Barrett) of Woodbury and Amanda Farmer (Roger) of Crawford, TN.; his close friend Bo Barrett of Woodbury; his grandchildren, Annisa Landreth (Josh) and Heavenleigh Ely; his great grandchildren, Victoria and Landsden Landreth; and his siblings, Tammy Hayden (Brian) of Murfreesboro, Kathy Walters of Murfreesboro, Susan Lovvorn (Dewayne) of Murfreesboro, Dennis Ely (Dee) of Murfreesboro, Ronnie Belding of Leesburg, FL and Jeff Ely of Augusta, GA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodbury Funeral Home (504 W Main St, Woodbury, TN 37190).
