It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alene Ferrell (Woodbury, Tennessee), who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Estes and Limmer Lee Ferrell Estes; and her brother Dorris Estes. She is survived by: her husband Melvin A. Ferrell; her children, Larry Ferrell (Cecile) of Supply, N. C., Diane Howell (David) of Chapel Hill, Jeanette Young (Tim) of Hendersonville and Melba King (Bob) of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren, Kristi Novak, Jennifer Barber, Rachel Sherrill, Tracey Chumley, Ben Young, Bethan Perkins and Malachi Sibrel; her siblings, James Estes of Woodbury, Ricky Estes (Bonnie) of Woodbury, Jimmy Estes (Linda) of Greenbriar and Judy Alexander (Benny) of Murfreesboro; and her sister-in-law Janet Estes of Murfreesboro. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
