We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2024, at the age of 91, Willie Lee Banks of Winchester, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Banks and Anna Banks (Taylor); his wife Margaret Geneva Banks; his children, Jerry Banks, Derel Banks and Wilma Bishop; and his brother Carl Banks.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Carl "Bud" Banks (Sonya), Anthony Jones (Angie), Jimmy Banks (Kim), Brandi Banks (David), Stacy Rakestraw (Jonathan), Lindy Banks and Tammy Basaraba (Matt); his daughters-in-law, Virginia Owens and Diane Banks; and his siblings, David Banks and Jean Dickey. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
