He is survived by: his children, Illia Daniel Ayers (Jennifer), Jamie Tucker Abel and Jesse Ruth Ayers (Jake Derryberry); his wife Linda Tucker Ayers; his siblings, Phillip Ayers (Brenda) and Mechele Ayers Wollard; his children, Yuri Ayers (Angela), Ashleigh Ayers Walker (Kam) and Ben Ayers (Margaret); and his grandchildren, Keaton Abel, Tucker Abel, William "Billy" Ayers, Anna Ayers, Mollie Ayers, Ella Ayers, Layne Ayers, Isaac Ayers and Major Walker.
